Imagineer was formed in 2005 with a vision to deliver performances and events in and around Coventry. Since then our ambitions and experiences have grown and we have a proud track record of producing projects of the highest quality and ambition, in Coventry and further afield. Some of our notable projects include:

Opening Ceremony to the International Children’s Games (2005)

Made in Coventry, the official opening of the City’s Ricoh Arena (2007)

Coventry Carnival (2007 – 2014)

Celebrating Coventry, a cultural showcase to mark the city hosting the UK School’s Games (2007)

The UK Children’s Games Cultural Programme (2008)

Germination, a large scale carnival theatre production to mark the Olympic handover from Beijing to London (2008)

A programme of events for National Holocaust Memorial Day (2009) 

Ostara, a large scale performance in partnership with The World Famous on Gosford Green, to celebrate the regeneration of Far Gosford Street (2010)

Godiva Awakes, a major project for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad funded by Arts Council England. Our giant puppet Godiva journeyed to London from Coventry, via Rugby, Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Luton, Waltham Abbey and Waltham Forest (2012).

The Moths Project – Worcestershire Museums (2014)

Godiva’s Homecoming,  a programme to welcome Godiva back to the city with a bicycle cavalcade around Coventry’s ring road led by Godiva joined by 1000 people on bicycles and a city centre programme of outdoor performances (2014).

WWII Commemorations War Bride – Coventry and Birmingham Cathedral and Frankfurt Choir (2015)

Carmen Funebre (Teatr Biro Podrozy – Poland) and Liberty (Transformations Project) for Coventry Peace Festival (2015)

Festival of Imagineers, an annual celebration of innovation, linking creative thinkers and innovators from all walks of life to create a unique festival of outdoor and site-specific performance and interactive experiences (2014-2018)

Bridge – a bridge appears in the centre of town and becomes the focus for three days of performance and happenings, before being stage to a spectacular night-time performance (2018-2021)
